Privacy statement
How we collect, use, store and protect your data when you use Entell.
Your privacy in the Entell Teams application matters to us. This privacy statement explains how we handle the collection, use, storage and protection of your data when you use the application. Entell is a trade name of Klout B.V. and was previously offered under the name Babbels.
1. Collecting personal data
We only collect personal data that Entell needs. This includes your name, contact details and other relevant information you share with us.
2. Using personal data
The personal data we collect is used solely to deliver our services, answer your questions and improve what we offer. We do not share your data with third parties, unless that is necessary to deliver our services or we are legally required to do so. You will be informed if that happens.
3. Storage and security
We store data securely and take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss, misuse or theft. We keep your data only for as long as we need it to provide our services to you or to meet legal requirements. We also protect personal information using encryption technology and secure servers.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its use. Contact us if you would like to exercise those rights.
5. The entell.com website
The chapters above are about the Entell application. For the website entell.com the following also applies.
Visitor statistics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. This only happens if you give permission in the cookie notice. If you do not, nothing is measured and no data reaches Google at all: Google’s script is not loaded.
What is processed then. Which pages you view, how long you stay, which page or search brought you here, and general details about your device, browser and country. Your IP address is shortened by Google and not stored. We do not link this data to a person and do not use it for advertising; advertising cookies are off and stay off, even if you give permission. Google processes the statistics as a processor on our behalf.
How long. Google deletes these statistics automatically after the retention period we have set in Google Analytics. If you want to know what that period is, email hi@entell.com.
Withdrawing your choice. At the bottom of every page there is a Cookie preferences button. It withdraws your permission and deletes Google’s cookies straight away.
We measure nothing beyond this. There are no advertising pixels, no social media buttons or trackers, and no other external measurement scripts on the site.
